Lola, a former exhibition Ballroom Dancer and Professional Musician returned back to her home ground in 1996 and took up learning Rock’n’Roll in 1997.

Inspired by two judges to enter into the competition circuit, Lola in 1999 entered Wintersun, World’s Freestyle Rock’n’Roll, Dancesport, Q.R.R.A. and Australia Pacific Games for the next six (6) years in partnership and triples dancing, and has numerous trophies and medals to her name.

In June 2005 at a prestigious competition Lola won Traditional for over 40 years of age – she was the oldest competitor in this event. Placed second in Lifts over 50’s and 2nd for Restricted over 40’s. At the Wintersun Festival held at Coolangatta, Lola made the finals in an open event over 18 years of age. She was one of the seven finalists and the oldest competitor.

Lola’s Dance Boutique has now been operating since July, 2003.

Lola can Lead or Follow; Rock’n’Roll, Swing Jive, Ballroom / Latin – you name it, she can do it.

Lola teaches not only the steps, but the crucial techniques of leading, following, and framework necessary for social dancing.
